Wastewater Treatment Plants (WWTP)

As WWTP contractors in Ohio, Bay Mechanical and Electrical proudly brings our expertise and quality work to each wastewater treatment plant project we work on. We help treatment plants meet all water quality requirements. Whether you need a brand new water treatment facility or modifications to an existing one, you should contact our Ohio WWTP construction company to learn about the services we provide.

Our Cleveland-based Ohio WWTP construction company has worked with many wastewater treatment facilities in the past, which only furthers our understanding of the needs of this industry. Recently our Ohio construction company was contracted for the Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District (NEORSD) Plant Automation project which included the upgrading of three treatment plants.

Since the treatment plants serve multiple communities in the greater Cleveland metropolitan area, it was imperative that our Ohio WWTP construction company work efficiently to complete the job. From the start, the overall goal of the project was to improve efficiency and effectiveness of the NEORSD as a public utility. The project included upgrading the current Process Monitoring Systems (PMS) at three plants, 111 remote collection flow and level sites, the Environmental and Maintenance Center (EMSC) and 27 Automatic Regulation sites. In addition, real-time monitoring of all plant processes and monitoring of the collection system sites were an important part of the project.

As leading WWTP contractors in Ohio, the improvements we implemented at the NEORSD treatment facilities allowed each treatment plant to be able to monitor utilities, life/safety systems and chemicals with greater efficiency. The success of this project made it the winner of the “2007 Award of Excellence.”
