Nestle Professional Customer Innovation Campus Project Nets Bay Award
of Excellence
Bay added another "Award of Excellence" to our collection by winning the
Mechanical over $2 Million category at the 2009 Associated Builders and Contractors
Construction and Safety Awards Celebration held on October 15, 2009.
Bay was contracted by the Stellar Group of Jacksonville, Florida to perform the
HVAC and plumbing portions of the Nestle Professional Customer Innovation
Campus Project. This 67,000 square foot state-of-the art facility was built in
Solon, Ohio
This new three story building allows the Nestle team to partner with their customers
to provide them with creative branded food and beverage solutions. This
was a very challenging yet rewarding project . Bay was proud to be chosen to
participate in this project and would like to thank the Stellar Group and Nestle
Professional for making us part of their construction team.
ELYRIA WWTP HEADWORKS PROJECT FINISHES EARLY
In July of 2008, the City of Elyria, Ohio awarded Bay a contract for the design-build
construction services required for the upgrade of the West Side Headworks Building
at the Elyria Wastewater Pollution Control Plant.
This contracted scope included the design and construction of an addition and the
rehabilitation of the plant's existing West Headworks Building. This project consisted
of the demolition of existing equipment and the design and installation of a
new skimmer, grit classifier, influent bar screen, odor control system, (2) 10,000 gallon
ferric chloride tanks, pumps and controls, and new electrical and HVAC systems.
The project which was completed in early November, was scheduled to be Completed
in late December. This is the third project that Bay has completed for the City
of Elyria with the design-build method of contract delivery.
COMMUNITY HEALTH PARTNERS TURNS TO BAY FOR REHAB PROJECT
Long time valued customer Community Health Partners (CHP) has awarded Bay a
contract for the complete HVAC, electrical, technology, plumbing, medical gas and
fire protection for the Second Floor Renovation project that is now underway. This
project is a major renovation of the Second Floor Central and Rotunda Areas. This
project is scheduled for completion in December 2010.
